Empire Pizza Mint Hill

I'm very impressed with this location. The service and atmosphere are top-notch! They have several TVs almost impossible not to catch a view of a game you want to watch. The server we had was very attentive and helpful. We ordered the pretzel bits as an app, and they had a nice crisp exterior and fluffy dough on the inside with a nice buttery sauce. Definitely recommend. The only reason I'm giving 4 versus 5 stats was that the pizza was oversaturated with oil, as you can see in the picture. This left the pizza dough floppy like a wet rag and only edible with a knife and fork. The flavor was on point, but I was very disappointed with the oil slick on the pizza. Seeing other pictures on reviews, it looks like ours was a one-off, and I'm willing to try them again in the future.

Our 1st visit of many more to come, I do believe. We had the garlic knots. They were great & the marinara to dip in was perfect (not full of huge tomatoe chunks). We also got a large pizza, half was "Classic White" and the other half was the "Four Cheese". Both were very good. Looking forward to trying some of the other items. (Forgot to take pics until we got full. We were hungry & eager to try everything. 🤣)

Although it was busy on a Friday night there was still plenty of time to seat 5 of us. The food was pretty good definitely better than other times I’ve been there. Our waitress was super nice and always there when we needed her. We had a lot of kids in our group and there was perfect menu items for everyone. I would recommend their burgers and pizza, their side salads are also very good. One thing I think they could work on is their pasta. Every time I’ve ordered pasta here it’s been very mediocre. In conclusion I think this location is very good.

Talk about making a great 1st impression! My family visited Empire for the first time last evening. From the beginning, we were met with friendly staff and that kept up through the entire evening. The atmosphere was lively. The beer was cold and delicious. Clearly, this place is a favorite spot by many because when we left, there was a wait for tables. Our food was awesome! We all loved the HOME-MADE mozzarella sticks. The pizza came out hot and FAST! The toppings were plentiful. This was the first time that my kids asked for a slice of pizza that wasn't just cheese and pepperoni. And they ate it! We're looking forward to our next visit to Empire Pizza! I'm personally looking forward trying some of their pastas and burgers. I saw some of those on the way out and they looked really good.

A pizza lover and a true, hard-core wings lover I was thrilled to find this place tonight! Oh my!!! We moved to Stallings last year and Matthews and Mint Hill are always surprising us with so many wonderful places❤️. Why 5 stars? Here we go: customer service: 8/5 stars. We were acknowledged the moment we walked in. Out server was Amazing!! Food- we ordered the Chicken bruschetta as recommended by our waiter and they have a special that includes pizza and wings. Get it!!! Is an upgrade if you order a specialty pizza but it is worth every single penny! The wings were absolutely delicious! Well cooked, tasted fresh, they were hot!!! The pizza has a very unique flavor that makes you feel like eating more and more. The combination of ingredients explode in synchrony in your mouth and is just pure joy. As we are driving back home my fiancee has said "that was a great pizza, that was a great meal" like 7 times in the last 10 mins ❤️. And he is not a picky eater but he is a harsh judge when it comes to eating out. His beer was a Potter, I had a Budlight, He has been talking about the beer nonstop. The place was clean, the ambiance was good. Check out their specials and if you are like me, I close my kitchen from Friday to Sunday, this is a super nice place to go!! You won't regret it!

I could not believe that this was delivered to my family and I from Empire Pizza in Mint Hill. We order from them all the time , through Door Dash, being that we are new to the area. The last time, we were so disappointed for reasons similar. This time I decided to post because this is worse than the last time we ordered. NEVER AGAIN! This is the Second Time we waisted money and time on this mess like this.
